This quilt was created for a challenge hosted by members at Quilt Art

The Challenge:To make a statement about women’s breasts/bras and the endless ways in which we seem to want to change them, make them bigger, contain them and our fascination with them. This quilt represents my feelings on that matter. The use of color and repetition emphasize the fixation that our current society seems to have on the issues that surround breasts. The bold graphic manner of the quilt also speaks in a way contrary to the unspoken way in which many women seek to find the perfect body.
