As I searched for my myth I came across the story of the Ku Bird, an
Arizona myth from the Yaquis. I love birds and have had them around me all my life so there was
a natural connection. The other part of the myth that attracted me was the all the color.
How could I resist such a colorful mythical bird in my art.
